The EMDR Centre London is the UK’s first independent EMDR training organisation – and the alternative for qualified professionals who do not meet EMDR Europe’s admission criteria. Our six-day training is open to coaches, counsellors, NLP practitioners, alternative psychotherapy practitioners, art, gestalt, behavioural and speech therapists. It is recognised by the NCPS, the ICPS and the National Hypnotherapy Society.
What the training covers
The EMDR training comprises three two-day seminars: foundation, practical and advanced. Each module combines theory, practical exercises, live demonstrations and experiential work in small groups. Module 1 can also be booked separately as an introductory seminar, either in person or online, if you would like to get to know the method first.

Who can train with us?
Most recognised institutions restrict EMDR training to accredited psychotherapists. We deliberately open the method to other qualified professionals – at the same standard of training. You will find the full entry criteria under requirements.
Recognition
This training holds Quality Checked training recognition with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and with the National Hypnotherapy Society. Our trainings are approved by the International Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (ICPS); as an NCPS member, joining the ICPS register is free.
